The BrewBrain blog has morphed into a blog about sports handicapping and wagering. I’ll be creating and sharing custom spreads or money lines for all NFL games, College Football Conference games, NBA games and MLB games. The goal is to show a profit against the “Vegas” or bookmakers’ spreads and lines.
My strategy is to generate a mathematical system that beats the bookies. I’ll be attempting to win at a sustainable rate - hopefully between 53% - 58% for spread sports - playing ALL games - no cherrypicking blue plate specials, games of the year, guaranteed locks or any of that stuff.
I’ve created mathematical algorithms for each sport - football, basketball and baseball - and I’ll be testing them against games in the current or upcoming seasons for each of the sports. If they show a profit, I’ll try to find a way to play for real during the next seasons.
All of my picks are free of charge. We’re just having a little fun here, trying to create a sports handicapping and wagering system that runs itself. Play along if you like, but don’t blame me if you lose all your money.
The beer brewing continues, better than ever. I just don’t enjoy writing about it the way I used to.
