Let the NBA begin
The NBA regular season starts tomorrow. I’ve got my algorithms all loaded up and ready to go to work. I’ll be collecting data for a couple of weeks, then I’ll start publishing my spreads and picks. I have NO history with my NBA strategy at all, so anything could happen. I’ll be paper wagering until I feel like I’ve got a probable winning strategy, then I’ll go live. I hope I go live:)
Speaking of live, this week I began betting for real on the NFL. Next week I’ll be placing live wagers on BCS conference games. I’m 7-5 on my blog NFL picks, but got only 3 points for the 49ers live, so am sitting at 6-5 with that push. a win tonight and I win nicely. A loss and I will be down less than 2% on my week 1 wagers. Nice that I got the Jets -6.5 at +115. Like they were going to just collect an appearance fee against the Raiders like the Eagles did last week.
